# How do I deactivate my Bestjobs account?

If you want to **deactivate** your BestJobs account, click on the three lines in the upper-right corner and go to the ***Account Settings*** page. In the ***Account deactivation*** section, click the pencil icon next to it. On the right side of the page, select the reason for deactivation and click the ***Deactivate account*** button.

As **a candidate, after deactivating your account,** you will **no longer appear in employer searches** on the platform or in your **submitted applications**, and you will **no longer receive new job alerts** by email.

We would like to mention that you can reactivate your account simply by logging in with your email or phone number.
